I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! We have Pineapple Fanta in Texas by the way. I bet you can find it in a Mexican Grocery store there in LA. Just a friendly heads up. Also, for the measuring spoons and cups, put some hooks on the inside of one of your cabinet doors and memorize which amount is where sort of how you do your makeup. I bet that would make Adrian's life a lot easier and it's cheaper than buying specialty tools.
I just moved in with my boyfriend so when you said that part about daytime and nighttime routines go to hell until you get used to co-living is soooo true!!! Too funny!

How the heck has the vision impaired thing not been a thing? Wow its so insane how behind we are with disabilities but very advanced with other things. Thats really cool that cvs has that.
Greek yogurt is horrible for the environment. The by product is toxic and can't be thrown out. Its literally piling up in shipping containers because it cant be dumped or burned. Green earthers never talk about Greek yogurt for some reason so I thought I would let you all know lol
@Lia TM I bet actual Greek yogurt is completely different from the stuff packaged up in stores. The byproduct is being kept in shipping containers piling up because we can't dispose of it anywhere. Its insane that people don't know about it. Green earthers should be making a big deal about it like they did with no straws laws lol
Lol greek yogurt is just strained normal yogurt. I should know, I'm greek and I've been making it since I was a child. The liquid that comes out is just milk serum and it isn't toxic at all, you can drink it or use it to water your plants. Unless Americans make greek yogurt in some other peculiar, dangerous way🤔

Loved this video, want to see more 🙂 My Step-Dad uses his finger for boiling water. I didn’t know you could get that liquid level checker - very cool. One tip with teabags from being a barista is to wrap the string around the handle to avoid it going too far in the cup. Thanks for sharing your life, love the insight into how you both adapt things for your own blindness. In England I think we have braille on prescriptions.
Molly, there are visual measuring cups you can buy to make cooking easier. They are shaped depending on the size so that you can physically feel the difference between a full circle (1cup) and a half circle (1/2 cup). Even though they are called “Visual Measuring Cups” I still think you will find them useful. Check them out on Amazon.

A tip for the cups and spoons: you could have someone use a sharpie (or better yet, like an acrylic marker) on the small raised numbers. Like you are going over them and that way you’ll have them stand out better!

Molly only has light perception, and Adrian is completely blind in one eye with low vision in the other.

I have no doubts you are visually impaired. However I'm unsure of the amount of light you see is speckles or full shapes? You film yourself and gallop very well as well as eye track yourself in the view finder. I'm not looking into small things. Even if you had a small bit of clarification rather than full sight it would make sense.
Ahhh girl, the bottom of the kettle shouldn't be wet, so just give the bottom and sides a good wipe before putting it into the tea...uh...receiver? I don't know what it's called, haha. Other than that, you two are super cute and your videography skills are killer. I can only guess that it takes you a lot of imagination and focus to get your shots centered. They have measuring cups that look like the fraction that they are. Like a cup is a regular circle cup, and half is like dome and the quart cup is like a triangle/pizza I think those would fit perfectly in your kitchen, I don’t know if they have the same for measuring spoons, but maybe they have “fancy” ones where each one spoon is a different shape (: Also I recommend the Andis foil shaver if he wants a smooth feeling after the other steps (: 🥰

I'm not blind, but seeing the struggle Adrian was having with the measuring spoons, I was just wondering, would putting strips of masking tape or really bright electric tape on the handles help you to discern which spoon is which?

Ms Burke, as I just found your channel and are new to your videos (this being the first video), I have to quick questions. I read you started losing your sight at the age of 5. I myself became 100% deaf at the age of 10. I see you are able to tell what outfits you are wearing. Do you still have some sight left? And are you quote legally blind. Keep up the work both of you. I have a lab as well. They are wonderful animals to have as a working dog, and are great with children. Thank you.

when Adrian was standing ready to take out gallop I was like "👀 Molly gurrl, you got a keeper!" So far we only seen him chest up so to see him full standing was like 👀 lol. I hope y'all last long!
